The NSW Government's Accredited Service Provider scheme opens network work to accredited private contractors instead of the network operators alone — which is why you can hire us directly for a connection job rather than waiting in an Ausgrid queue. The scheme has three levels, and they're not grades of the same job — they're different jobs entirely:
For a home or business — a new connection, switchboard and metering work, service mains, a private pole or a defect notice — Level 2 is the accreditation your job needs. We hold it at Grade A across all four classes with both Sydney networks.
Every Level 2 job involves the network behind the scenes — Notifications of Service Work, connection applications, meter reprogramming requests, defect notice clearances. As your ASP we lodge all of it directly with Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy and hand you a completed, compliant connection. You never contact the network yourself. Accredited Service Provider — a contractor accredited under the NSW Government's ASP scheme to work on the electricity distribution network. Level 2 ASPs handle connections between the network and individual premises.
Level 1 builds network infrastructure like street mains, Level 2 connects individual premises to the network, and Level 3 designs network assets. For home and business connection work you need a Level 2.
